Rest for A While

Listen, oh my friends all over!
I'll now take some rest;
I've to find some place to hover
In search of knowledge best.

I know that I've enough to give
Of which some already put,
Rest I'll gather as I live
But let me reach the root.

Readers are friends benevolent
To whom I want to reach
With thoughts in full, not in fragments
There shouldn't be any breach.

Thoughts inundate rushing with blow,
Ideas going haywire
Hindering pen's natural flow,
Killing my flair and fire.

Not at all hurt, I love this art -
World of poems and poetry,
Sort of a rest, respite apart
would take me to history.

Just as a scoop, it's here for you -
I want to use my time
Reading and watching others hue,
Sonorous rhythm and rhyme.
